Admission

Individuals & Families

The Museum has a suggested donation of $5.00-$10.00 for Adults, $3.00-$5.00 for Children, and $20.00-$25.00 for Families. However, any amount is greatly appreciated.

Visiting USS Constitution

The US Navy offers free tours aboard USS Constitution on a first-come, first-serve basis during their operating hours. Please be aware that visitors must pass through a security inspection and show federal or state photo identification, such as a driver's license or passport, before embarking on USS Constitution. Visitors under the age of 18 do not require a photo identification card.

The USS Constitution Museum and the Ship are operated separately. Information listed above is subject to change at any time. Please visit USS Constitution's website for the most up-to-date information on visiting the Ship.

Parking

Off street parking is available at the Nautica Parking Garage, located at 88 Constitution Road, Charlestown, MA 02129. The Museum is a five minute walk from the garage. Street and metered parking are available in select locations (time limits may apply). Please note: Validation is available for the Nautica Parking Garage at the Museum and the National Park Service Visitor Center.

Food & Beverage

The Museum does not have a dining facility, but we do sell drinks and snacks inside the Museum Store. See the "In Our Neighborhood" page for local restaurant suggestions.

Accessibility

All of the Museum's galleries and restrooms are accessible to visitors who use wheelchairs. USS Constitution's accessibilty may differ.

 Museum Store

Books, games, apparel, and sourvenirs are available in the Museum store and on the Museum Store's website.

After your visit to the Museum

The story does not end with Constitution! Visit the Navy Yard Visitor Center's  "Serving the Naval Fleet" exhibit to learn about the history of the Charlestown Navy Yard. You can also view the breathtaking exterior of the Commandant's House, one of the Navy Yard's first structures, or take a short walk to the Bunker Hill Monument and Museum
