USS Constitution’s past comes to life through objects, stories, and hands-on experiences with a visit to the USS Constitution Museum! From self-guided exploration in our award-winning exhibits to fun interdisciplinary programs with our talented staff, there is something for every type of group to discover.

Reservation Guidelines

  • Reservations must be made at least one week in advance for all groups with 10 or more people. If you are interested in visiting during May and June, please contact our Coordinator as early as possible since these dates often fill quickly.
  • To schedule a visit, please fill out the online request form. If your group can be accommodated, an invoice reviewing your reservation and the Museum’s policies will be sent as a confirmation.
  • A credit card is required to hold the reservation. Cash, check, and all major credit cards are accepted for final payment.
  • Due to high visitation, there are no reservations allowed during the week of July 4th.
  • Reminder: A reservation to the USS Constitution Museum does NOT include a tour aboard USS Constitution.The Ship is operated by the United States Navy and can be visited on a first come, first served basis during their operating hours.

Bus Drop-off & Parking

The Charlestown Navy Yard has a designated turnaround area located on Constitution Road for bus drop-off. Afterwards, The Boston Autoport (100 Terminal Street) in Charlestown is available for short-term motor coach and school bus parking. The cost is $10.00 for school buses and $20.00 for coach buses. The Boston Autoport is a privately owned and operated facility is not affiliated with the USS Constitution Museum.
