The Museum is a private non-profit and does not receive government funding for operations. In order to fulfill its mission in the future, the Museum will require a strong endowment. Income from the endowment supports the Museum’s efforts to preserve and interpret USS CONSTITUTION's precious legacy and it is the "Old Ironsides" Society members who serve as the core contributors to this critical fund. Planned gifts, in the form of charitable gift annuities, bequests, trusts, life insurance policies, or gifts of property, are added to the Museum’s endowment. This income has an enduring impact on our ability to perpetuate "Old Ironsides’" legacy through collection, preservation, and educational endeavors. To join this special group of people who are committed to ensuring the story of "Old Ironsides" is never forgotten, please contact us at GetInvolved@ussconstitutionmuseum.org or (617) 426-1812.
