If you prefer to tour the Museum on your own…

Students and teachers are welcome to tour the Museum without a guide. Reservations are strongly recommended as walk-in groups are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If you arrive at the Museum without a reservation and there are other groups already visiting, you may be asked to return at a later time. Please call (617) 426-1812 ext. *186 to make or to confirm a reservation. To enhance your students’ visit, self-guided worksheets (for grades 6–12) can be provided if requested at the time your group reservation is made.

Class size: Up to 50 students per hour. Over 50 students will require two time slots.
Suggested Time: 45 minutes–1 hour
Chaperones: 1 chaperone for every 10 students is required.
Chaperones must remain with students at all times (including inside the Museum Store).
Cost: $1.00 per person suggested donation
