Citizen Schools Partnership
"Ships Ahoy," our after school outreach program in partnership with Citizen Schools, a leading after school provider, reaches middle school students in inner-city Boston. Through a ten-week curriculum, students develop a deeper understanding of USS CONSTITUTION and work to create an educational presentation for family and friends. The program builds historical knowledge, fosters teamwork and leadership and leads to a final product students can look back on with pride.
The "Ships Ahoy" after school program is currently docked at the Edwards Middle School in Charlestown.
