Become a Volunteer!
We invite you to become a volunteer and be swept away on a voyage of history and tradition that is USS CONSTITUTION. Lead school programs, help during public programs, work in our curatorial department or assist with administrative tasks! The USS Constitution Museum is a great place to volunteer. Active volunteers receive free parking in the Charlestown Navy Yard, invitations to annual parties, and a 30% discount in the museum store.

Museum Learning Department Volunteers
Do you enjoy working with children? The Museum Learning Department is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to lead existing school programs for ages 5–11. Volunteers must possess strong oral communication skills, be able to climb stairs and to stand for long periods of time. Full training is provided.
